Title: AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE Authorizing the Director of Public Safety to enter into one or more agreements with various colleges, universities, or other entities that provide training and instruction for veterinary, veterinary technician, or other professions relating to animal care for the City to provide internships or externships to students in exchange for their services at no cost to the City, for the Division of Animal Care and Control, Department of Public Safety, for a period not to exceed one year, with two options to renew not to exceed one year each, exercisable by the Director of Public Safety.
