Title: AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE To rename the Department of Economic Development to the Department of Development by amending the title to Chapter 144 and various codified ordinances; to amend Section 144.02, as amended by Ordinance No. 1655-80, passed July 31, 1980, relating to the Director’s duties; to enact new Section 144.021 to establish a new office; to amend 183.021, as amended by Ordinance No. 837-2017, passed August 16, 2017, relating to the land reutilization programs; to establish a new Special Revenue Fund; and to authorize the hiring of an additional employee.
