Title: AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE Determining the method of making the public improvement of implementing the Active Transportation Program by repairing, and constructing various safety improvements including but not limited to pavement markings, delineator posts, sign fabrication material, traffic signal equipment, design, and related improvements; and authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter into one or more public improvement requirement contracts for the making of the improvement; authorizing the director to employ one or more professional consultants necessary to design the improvement; and authorizing the Director to apply for and accept one or more gifts and grants or other funding from public or private entities to implement this ordinance.
